Tearable World

Tearable World is one of the most original, visually alluring and ingenious free puzzle games of all time, in our humble opinion. Crumpled Up Games created an amazing piece that will leave fans of the genre scratching their heads with a big smile in their faces, mostly because this is a puzzle game where players are not bounded by a single solution, there are several ways to take the character to the door that ends the level.

The story is simple but sets the fantasy mood of the game. Terry has to escape from the sketchbook where he is trapped and for that he will tear, fold and rotate the pages to reach the exit. While the first puzzles are very easy and teach you the mechanics, later on things get complex and require meticulous thinking and experimentation to overcome the obstacles without leading Terry to his death.

The art style is remarkable and very original, a true sketchbook brought to life and the way we can interact with it – besides moving Terry around – is impressive, how everything comes together and allows for deep experimentation without ever looking like the game will break. It’s a really solid, compelling effort.

Available for PC, Mac and Android devices, Tearable World is a gem that shouldn’t be missed by any player, even if you’re not a diehard fan of puzzle games.
