Mecha Spider Island is another retro-styled free action platform game with a curious hybrid of frog and giraffe as the main attraction and playable character. All the other animals are gone, disappearing from a ship reminiscent of a Noah’s ark, due to a mysterious galactic ray. The ark also managed with this hybrid on a planet surface that is the setting for the game.
There are four levels to explore, filled with hostile creatures that have to be eliminated with our rockets. Bonuses will upgrade our weapons and the game also includes several secret areas. The final showdown will be amazing, pitting our giraffe-frog creature against a huge Mecha Spider. This is a simple yet interesting platformer aimed at old-school gamers.
