The Fourth Wall

The Fourth Wall is a freeware platform game with a twist, not entirely original but still capable of offering some interesting challenges. It’s a very short game at the current state but worth a try to see the mechanics in action.

The player controls a magician that has the ability to break the fourth wall and reach places in a way that wasn’t supposed to happen. The goal is to reach the exit of each area by moving through the four borders of the screen and reappearing on the opposite place. It takes some thinking and getting used to forget the usual laws of videogame platformers, but soon we’ll be jumping from one place to another, using the scrolling of the level to reach new areas and avoiding enemies.
