Momodora is one of those retro-styled gems that are making a fantastic comeback. The 2D platform genre seems to be alive and when among the free games community, much thanks to classics such as Cave Story.

Momodora fits in the genre of the free platform games and was created with Game Maker. Live the touching tale of a young orphan girl that embarks on a perilous journey to find a legendary object that will bring her dear mother back to life. It’s a beautiful premise that reminds us of what is most precious to us in life and that we mostly just take for granted. There are some light RPG elements added to the mix.
