Habbo

Habbo is a famous virtual world with a huge player community, boasting numbers millions above the already massive Second Life playerbase – 230 million registered players as of August 2011. More than a game, it’s a cool place to hang out and chat with other people, customizing the guest rooms with furniture, floor patterns and wallpaper and using the public rooms such as restaurants and dance clubs to interact. Habbo was originally launched in 2000 but still stands out as one of the greatest examples of a virtual world.
