Some games try to be old school, while others just seem old. This is the case of Furious Biker, a Spy Hunter clone that is all but furious. Although free, it doesn’t manage to grab the player more than a couple of tries before boredom sets in.
Looking at the name, you’d be forgiven to expect a fast and frantic bike racing game, but what you get is a poor man’s shooter. The biker handles without any care for real life physics – although the game comes with the priceless sentence “Furious Biker will present you with unforgettable minutes of real biker drive. And when does a real biker has a pistol or a shotgun and destroys cars, trucks and police vehicles along the way? That’s not exactly your average day.
Anyway, all this would be okay if the game was fun to play. It’s easy to get into, I’ll give it that. However, it soon becomes monotonous. No amount of scenery change or increasing traffic will be able to change things, and the highscore table is only interesting for those who manage to overlook how simple Furious Biker is.
If you still feel the game could be fun, download it and give it a try, after all it’s free. But make no mistake – there are lots of better free racing games out there.
Overall: 2/10
